NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE
Maxcom’s metropolitan network encompasses 1,411 km of optical fiber and 4,718 km of copper rings, capable of supporting high speed data transmission. It has 4 Lucent technologies 5ESS switches in operation, located in Mexico City, Puebla, and Querétaro, and 2 soft-switches, located in Mexico City and Monterrey. It operates a 170 km optical fiber link that connects the cities of Puebla and Mexico, and a 5,915 km fiber ring that connects Mexico City with Laredo, Texas.
